Pal Zileri Spring Summer 22 Advertising Campaign reinterprets one of the iconic scenario tied to the Venice Film Festival: The Blue Carpet.

Since 1932, year of the birth of the Film Festival, Venice and the shores of the Lido have welcomed the greatest stars of the international cinema panorama that every year, aboard of elegant motorboats, cut through the waters of the lagoon, travelling a sort of imaginary Blue Carpet to land on the banks of the Excelsior Hotel, where they are greeted by the flashes of the paparazzi who steal these moments of glamour to share with the world.

Pal Zileri’s photo-story, based on the concept of "Effortless Attitude" which has been defining the Brand since the past seasons, this time has focused on the more intimate aspect of this event: imagining two actors, played by Martin Cannavo and Sasha Knezevic, immortalized by the indiscreet lens of the paparazzi during moments of relax at the Lido.

The shots are very far or too close, sometimes blurred, as always happens in the "stolen" shots. Therefore more true and intimate. There is no dialogue with the lens, rather a desire to escape from it, which creates that game of refusal and complicity that is often established between celebrities and paparazzi.

It is a game in which fiction and reality intersect, giving life to that imaginary made up of elegance, gestures and savoir-faire, reminiscent of the great icons of the Italian cinema such as Marcello Mastroianni.

Therefore elegance, refined and relaxed at the same time, is the protagonist of the Pal Zileri Spring Summer 22 collection.

Fundamental are the suits and blazers, which have always been part of the Brand’s DNA, that return to establish themselves on the scene, but with a different style comparing with the past, more relaxed and "effortless" and therefore more contemporary.

The three-piece suit, paired with a printed shirt and without the tie, highlights the essential Italian nonchalance, becomes easy and relaxed.

The double-breasted Prince of Wales suit looks more contemporary paired with the denim shirt worn with turned-up cuffs, as well as the two-button micro-patterned suit worn with the silk polo shirt.

The double-breasted linen jacket, in the new Tangerine variant, becomes "daily" combined with the beige double pleated trousers and the Indigo shirt, as well as the blazer in the Aqua Blue variant, combined with the nonchalant white linen trousers.

The offer is completed by the timeless elegance and glamour of the tuxedo, reinterpreted in the iconic image of the approach on the Lido shores.

The casual part of the collection is expressed by the Oyster Jacket, presented in the new blouson variant, combined with double pleated trousers and knitted polo shirts with a preppy allure. The refined and elegant knitwear in sublime cotton and silk yarns, is embellished with contrasting inlaid details, making it the protagonist.

The color palette of the SS22 collection is inspired by the Mediterranean, which vibrates with bright shades such as Tangerine, Bergamot and Aqua Blue and softened by the colors of the earth in the variants Siena, Ceramic Rose and Amber, related to the warm beach colors of the Lido of Venezia and the iconic green of the lagoon waters, which has always been the distinctive color of Pal Zileri.
